Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner & Kylie Jenner Text And Chat Throughout Vma Michael Brown Tribute

Since then protests have erupted in the town, and this has led to clashes between protesters and police. At MTVs Video Music Awards, when the rapper Common appeared on stage to present the gong for best hip-hop video he asked the elite crowd to take a minute to ponder Browns death and the reaction in Missouri. He proclaimed to the crowd at the Forum in Inglewood, Hip hop has always presented a voice for the revolution. I want us all to take a moment of silence for Mike Brown and for peace in this country and in the world. At this point the crowd then immediately went silent, and Snoop Dogg was even seen to bow his head and raise a peace sign to showcase his feelings on the matter. However when the camera cut over to Kim, Kylie and Kendall, who were sat in front row seats at the event, the trio were clearly shown staring into their phones and texting away. They then even appeared to share a brief chat while the rest of the audience followed Commons demand. As you can imagine, the world of Twitter soon shared their thoughts on the Kardashian clans supposed ignorance, and most of the reaction was vitriolic. According to the Daily Mail , one user wrote: Lets not pretend were shocked the Kardashian girls were texting during a moment of silence of Ferguson at the VMAs. This was then followed with: I would pay TOP DOLLAR to see Kim Kardashian point out Ferguson on a map. Another Twitter member then teased that the girls were probably just looking on their phones to learn who Brown actually was. A representative for the Kardashians has since insisted that neither her nor her sisters were texting during the tribute, but they also failed to add a further explanation for the pictures.
